Enchanted Linda wins for the third time!

A brilliant start for her new trainer Michael Herrington yesterday at Catterick, as Enchanted Linda won five days after moving to her new yard.

In his pre race interview with Racing TV, Michael graciously said that if she were to win, it would be all credit to her former trainer Richard Hannon, as he had done all the hard work and that she had simply been trotting after arriving at his Malton yard on Friday evening.

He also explained what a 'buzzy' filly she was. This was indeed the reason we wanted to find a yard for her where she could spend some time on her own, rather than around many other horses, which she had taken a liking to at Richard Hannon's. Her syndicate manager Tim immediately thought that Michael Herrington would be a perfect fit as a new yard for her, having worked as travelling head lad for the late 'Sprint King' Dandy Nicholls, with whom we had many a horse in training. The plan came to fruition and she settled in very well straight away.

Today's win was the third of her career, with Jason Hart giving her a very good ride. The plan to keep her time in the paddock to a minimum and to take her down to the start early, working out well. We hope that her new quiet environment away from the race course will continue to see her sprint away with a few more wins for her syndicate - a great start, well done team! It was yet another superb day for us, with our other two runners taking 2nd place. It has been a great month so far, with 55% of our July runners winning or finishing 2nd.
