A second 2 year old wins on debut
WE DO LOVE DRAGON PULSE PROGENY!
Our 3 year old son of DRAGON PULSE, Ventura Dragon, trained by Richard Fahey, topped the Tattersalls Guineas 'HIT' Sale on Friday, selling for 62,000 guineas. He won three races and just over £31,000 of prize money for his owners, returning them more than we paid for him as a yearling.
Yesterday, our 2 year old son of the sire NINETYTHREETWENTY, also trained by Richard, made his debut at Doncaster. Named after the time of Sergio Aguero’s famous Premier League winning goal in 2012 (93 mins 20 secs), our colt scored a last gasp victory himself, under jockey David Nolan.
He was a true professional in the race, breaking well, getting some lovely cover and then being big and brave going through the small gaps that David asked him to and powered home in the closing 100 yards to get there even a shade cosily. It took a good 30 seconds to pull him up following the race suggesting he was still full of running which isn't a surprise given his breeding.
He looks like he might have a nice future, so congratulations to all connections, including several owners who purchased shares only this week!
At the Tattersalls Breeze Up Sale, we bought the most stunning colt by RAVEN'S PASS who has gone to Musley Bank to be trained by Richard, If you haven't yet read his page or watched his breeze, you should do so NOW, as there is just 5% of shares remaining! **STORY UPDATE 7th MAY-THIS HORSE IS NOW SOLD OUT**
There are shares available in 2 year old's with Richard, including another son of Dragon Pulse and we will be heading to his yard on Saturday (May 12th) - the perfect time to come along to see them work! Remember that this time last week there were shares available in Ninetythreetwenty and now there are a number of people ruing missing out on being an owner after his win....
