Purchased from the Arqana Vente 2, which provided 2 Classic winners in 2018, this filly is by Coolmore's young super sire NO NAY NEVER, who just happens to be a son of Scat Daddy: Champion first crop sire of 2018; he’s the sire of the mighty European Champion 3YO Sprinter Ten Sovereigns; multiple winner including the Gr.1 July Cup, Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes & Gr.3 Round Tower Stakes, Arizona - winner of the Gr.2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot, runner-up in the Gr.1 Dewhurst Stakes & third in the Gr.1 Vincent O'Brien National Stakes, Alcohol Free - dual winner including an impressive win in the Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes, Mystery Power - stylish winner of the Gr.2 Superlative Stakes, Wichita - winner of the Gr.2 Park Stakes at Doncaster & Gr.3 Tattersalls Stakes at Newmarket. Third in the Gr.1 Dewhurst Stakes & Gr.1 St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. Land Force - a 3-time winner including the Gr.2 Richmond Stakes & Listed Tipperary Stakes, Shadn - winner of the Gr.2 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte & Listed Rose Bowl Stakes, Nay Lady Nay - winner of the Gr.2 Mrs Revere Stakes, Gr.3 Matchmaker Stakes & Park Fall Oaks for Chad Brown, Chestnut Honey - Gr.2 Premio Federico Tesio, Listed Gran Premio d'Italia & Listed Premio Merano winner for Alduino Botti, Vitalogy - winner of the Gr.3 Palm Beach Stakes and Need I Say More - dual winner including the Gr.3 Waikato Stud Slipper Stakes. Just a few of his black type winners from around the world!

Since sending our first yearling to Mark Johnston just 3 years ago, Ventura Knight, we’ve experienced nothing but success, with Ventura Knight winning 7 races and being rated a career high of 104. On the back of that, we sent Mark the subsequent Listed, Group 3 winning and Group 2 placed Marie’s Diamond. In fact, every horse we have had race with Mark has been a winner and we see no reason why anything should change with this year’s Mark Johnston yearling cohort!

We’ve had to push the boat out to be lucky enough to secure his fantastic yearling filly by the super sire. Our Mark Johnston yearling filly, hails from a fabulous family that excels with its 2yo’s, but being out of a winning, Lemon Drop Kid mare, there is every reason to believe that this good sized, athletic filly, will have the scope and substance to train on, into her 3yo career too. Mark has an illustrious list of top class fillies, notably Attraction, Main Edition, Raffle Prize, West End Girl and Walk In Marrakesh to name but a few, so we’d love to believe our filly could emulate her stable mates in 2020 and 2021.

She qualifies for French Owner Premiums, which adds 64% to all earnings achieved on French soil, so we will clearly have one eye on opportunities across the Channel should they arise for our latest No Nay Never acquisition.

We can’t wait to see her on the track in 2020 and beyond, from a family that contains the stallions No Nay Never, Lemon Drop Kid, Kingmambo, Johannesburg, Elusive Quality and Danzig, you’d struggle to find a better bred individual.

Listen to what our Bloodstock agent Nicolas de Watrigant said after he signed for her here.
