Another private purchase from Robson Aguiar & Rodrigo Goncalves, as were BRAVE EMPEROR & GOT TO LOVE A GREY.
She is by the great sire in Dark Angel, who, it’s fair to say, is one of around half a dozen “elite sires” available, having produced the likes of multiple Group 1 winners Charyn, Battaash, Harry Angel, Mecca’s Angel, Lethal Force, Estidhkaar, Gutaifan, and of course our own Lily’s Angel & Realtra.
Training update: Came from Ireland with a lofty (black type) reputation. She hasn’t quite lived up to that billing, as yet, but we got her handicapped, and she was a well-backed, very comfy winner on her handicap debut. She’s open to plenty of improvement and, being a daughter of Dark Angel, she should retain plenty of residual value.
Alice believes there’s wiggle room in her handicap rating, and with normal, physical improvement (she was always a little on the lean and mean side this Summer, as only a 2yo), there could be considerable wiggle room in her mark. Time will tell. She could easily make up into a Saturday horse. She goes on any ground, which can prove to be a huge boon.
