Here’s a filly, who has it all. She is by THE sire of the moment, in NO NAY NEVER, out of a mare who has produced a black type performer already, by Zoffany. We are fans of Zoffany (the sire of our Group 1 winner VENTURA STORM) but he wouldn’t hold a candle to No Nay Never in the Stallion Stakes!
NO NAY NEVER; the best young sire, probably in the World, who just happens to be a son of Scat Daddy: Champion first crop sire of 2018; he’s the sire of the mighty European Champion 3YO Sprinter Ten Sovereigns; multiple winner including the Gr.1 July Cup, Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes & Gr.3 Round Tower Stakes, Arizona - winner of the Gr.2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot, runner-up in the Gr.1 Dewhurst Stakes & third in the Gr.1 Vincent O'Brien National Stakes, Alcohol Free - dual winner including an impressive win in the Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes, Mystery Power - stylish winner of the Gr.2 Superlative Stakes, Wichita - winner of the Gr.2 Park Stakes at Doncaster & Gr.3 Tattersalls Stakes at Newmarket. Third in the Gr.1 Dewhurst Stakes & Gr.1 St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. Land Force - a 3-time winner including the Gr.2 Richmond Stakes & Listed Tipperary Stakes, Shadn - winner of the Gr.2 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte & Listed Rose Bowl Stakes, Nay Lady Nay - winner of the Gr.2 Mrs Revere Stakes, Gr.3 Matchmaker Stakes & Park Fall Oaks for Chad Brown, Chestnut Honey - Gr.2 Premio Federico Tesio, Listed Gran Premio d'Italia & Listed Premio Merano winner for Alduino Botti, Vitalogy - winner of the Gr.3 Palm Beach Stakes and Need I Say More - dual winner including the Gr.3 Waikato Stud Slipper Stakes. Just a few of his black type winners from around the world! Read more about him here: https://coolmore.com/stallions/no-nay-never.
She’s from a serious family of Champions, including her grand dam, no less. This filly has the potential to be a valuable commodity to race on and/or for the paddocks, if she’s anything like she’s bred to be, once on the track.
You’d be hard pressed to find a stronger pedigree than this No Nay Never filly’s, and she looks just the ticket for Richard Hannon to train – He has of course trained of some very talented fillies in Billesdon Brook, Sky Lantern & Tiggy Wiggy. She has a 'prowly' walk, like many top-class horses do, and she even resembles a colt, on looks, given she has such strength and depth to her. She’s a fabulous mover and threatens to be top class.
She’ll retain plenty of residual value, given her fantastic and fashionable pedigree, regardless of her performance on the track. Recently, the Group 1 winning mare Marsha, sold for 6 million guineas after her racing career and fillies often make 2 million or more at the sales, if they are successful at an elite level, on the track.
