You’d probably struggle to find a more regally bred first foal, given the depth of genes on view in this 3yo gelding’s pedigree. Just take a look at his pedigree page (attached to this page.) It’s littered with stars; such as “The Tank” Denman, Grade 1 winner Silverburn as well as his dam: The 4-time Listed winning and Grade 1 2nd (in the OLBG Mares' Hurdle and The Cheltenham Festival,) POLLY PEACHUM, who Nicky Henderson masterminded through her Seven Barrows career.

We think we’ve struck gold with this son of the fabulous sire KAPGARDE. Read about him here: He has a large impressive list of winning progeny; including 7 at Grade 1 level: A PLUS TARD, CLAN DES OBEAUX, FAKIR D'OUDAIRIES, FEU FOLLET, MILORD THOMAS and PRINCE ALI. A great day for her sire, with A PLUS TARD winning the Grade 1 Savills Chase: and taking 2nd in the Cheltenham Gold Cup at this years Festival. Then at the 2021 Aintree Festval, FAKIR D'OUDAIRIES won the Grade 1 Marsh Chase.

This strapping gelding has size and scope as well as that hint of quality about him that endeared himself to the best in the business. “I’m delighted that we’ve got him, he looks incredibly well bought and I can’t wait to get him home and crack on with him” the Champion Trainer said, as we signed for the horse at the Goffs Land Rover Sale. The same sale where we purchased our Seven Barrows trained Listed winning mare MARIE'S ROCK.

If he possesses anything like the ability of the vast majority of his immediate gene pool, we could well be in for a stellar ride and we can’t wait to see him hit the track.

There's also a video of him as a foal, with his dam in the gallery.
