Never since we purchased for £40,000 - De Bruyne Horse - have we been so impressed by a horse in the pre-parade ring at a sale. We hadn’t viewed this amazing filly personally, on site, ahead of her being presented for sale by her consignors. Fortunately Ross Doyle and Richard Hannon had already seen her twice and she’d appeared on their shortlist. It’s fair to say that it was love at first sight when we saw her personally, just as it had been with De Bruyne Horse around a decade ago - he went on to Woodcote and French Listed victory and took his owners to Royal Ascot no less for his run in The Coventry. The moment the hammer was knocked down to Ross & Richard for this sensational, moving filly, we immediately put our name to her. 

At a sale where literally hundreds of horses sold for €100,000 or more, where dozens and dozens sold for hundreds of thousands of euros and a couple sold for into the millions to boot, we’d safely assert that there was not a better, looser mover on site all week. On the sales video you’d struggle to fault her, whatsoever - it’s difficult to believe that we’ve bought her for just €35,000 on the day.

She’s by the sire of Queen Mary winner Leovanni, recent Middle Park 4th ‘Push The Boat Out’, Phoenix Stakes winner and now stallion Go Bears Go - to name but a few. His progeny are usually fast and very forward. 

We’d hope she’ll be out early 2027 and, of course, we can look at several of the options listed above.
