Purchased at Tattersalls Book 2, this filly is our first horse with the up and coming and very entertaining Newmarket trainer, CHARLIE FELLOWES. We are excited to welcome Charlie to the MPR family, with this gorgeous filly.

She is by INTELLO, a son of the mighty Galileo, who has already sired the classic placed and Group 1 winner INTELLOGENT, Group 3 winners Noble Heidi, Pao Alto, Regal Reality, Slalom and Young Rascal, as well as 7 Listed winners. He is a thoroughly talented sire and has provided MPR with numerous winners, from a small number of horses, all purchased on very sensible budgets: Lexington Empire, who was the winner of four races and was then sold for 80,000gns, having being purchased rather inexpensively as a yearling for 20,000gns, followed by our hugely promising 3 year old Conditions Stakes winner Mensen Ernst, who will be running in a Listed race on his next start. In fact, because his stock can be purchased for very sensible money, he represents one of the very best value for money Stallions out there. Read more about her sire here: http://www.lequesnay.com/pid23/etalon-17/intello#production

She qualifies for 100% of the Great British Bonus Scheme, which means she earns £20,000, on top of normal prize money, for each novice or conditions’ race win she has in her career. The number she can win, is without limit. Bryan Smart won 3 and £60,000, therefore, with one of his fillies in 2020. This filly is the most outstanding individual you could wish to meet, with a walk to die for. She’s far and away the nicest of around a dozen fillies that Charlie took us to see, and her page is littered with black type performers, including this filly’s dam, herself.

Her walk video can be seen below, with two further videos in the gallery.

In a Book 2 market that looked ludicrous at times, with horses fetching severely in excess of both their current valuation, and figures which bore no relation to what they could earn on the racetrack, this filly represents outstanding value, ticks all the boxes for us, and, with the bonuses attached, offers her owners a real chance of naming some kind of economic sense of owning and racing her in 2021 and 2022.

She could very easily have a tidy residual value at the end of her career too, with her deep genes. In avoiding fashion, we’ve unearthed a real diamond here, we hope!

Pedigree update (18th October): A 13th stakes winner for INTELLO, as his 2 year old daughter Noble Heidi wins the Group 3 Preis der Winterkonigin:

Training Update (28th November): Charlie repotts - "She is now fully broken in and is doing good figures of eight on the grass at trot. She has been impeccably behaved and George (her pre-trainer) is delighted with her progress. She is due to start hack cantering early next week and which point she will be ready to move over to Bedford House Stables.  So, I am hoping that she will come to me in about a weeks time."
