“Middleham Park Racing is the winning most syndicate in the country and it is an absolute pleasure to be able to train for them. We have been very fortunate over the years to have had some fantastic Group race winning horses together; including Toormore, Kool Kompany, Raymond Tusk, Shouldvebeenaring and our Group One winner, Ventura Storm. Overall the whole experience is top notch, both on and off the racecourse, with regular stable visits with us and some fantastic days out racing.”
Richard Hannon
"What Middleham Park Racing offer is the chance for people to get into ownership, who may otherwise not be able to and their results speak for themselves."
Kevin Ryan

Horse racing is often referred to as the ‘Sport of Kings’, with wealthy owners dominating the fields worldwide and spending millions on their bloodstock empires. If you are an avid flat racing fan, you’ll be familiar with names such as Wathnan Racing, Coolmore, Godolphin, Juddmonte, and AMO Racing, to name but a few of the top-owning enterprises. Our colours regularly line up alongside such colossal opposition, taking the spoils on many an occasion.

"Being in the paddock wearing your owners badge at top class meetings is so thrilling!"
MPR Owner

Tim Palin, our founder and Director of Racing, says: "We have in no way rested on our over 1750 or so winners’ laurels in the past couple of years. We’ve continued to source the very best Flat and National Hunt stock available and our horses have continued to thrive on the track. In the past three seasons, we sought to raise the bar by increasing our purchasing budgets and racing at an even higher level. Over 30 Pieces of black type have been earned, and we have produced a record level of private and public auction bloodstock sales for our fabulous owners.
It just shows that being an owner with Middleham Park Racing offers the opportunity not just to participate but to win quality races, consistently, here and abroad.
We pride ourselves on making available a wide range of share options - we are no 'one trick pony!' Flat, National Hunt, 2-year-olds and good, consistent older handicap horses to give plenty of opportunities for owners to go racing. Furthermore, we’ve a fabulous team of ultra-hard-working staff, demonstrating the sort of stability you’d like to see in any business, so our owners always know there's someone on hand to help. The aim of the whole team is to maximise the enjoyment and make the MPR experience as good as is practicable for our syndicate members.
Every winner is celebrated at MPR HQ, as if it’s the most important thing in the world, and it is for any owner in a racehorse - winning is the name of the game! We’re unique at MPR, having achieved over 1750 winners and having started from nothing in 1995, with zero contacts and zero experience in running a syndicate company, through to becoming the UK’s most successful racing syndicate in the history of thoroughbred racing. For this, a heartfelt debt of gratitude goes out to all our owners, past and present, our horses, trainers and stable staff that have enabled this to come to pass, along with our fabulous and 100% devoted staff, whose dedication and application in pursuit of excellence afford our owners the very best experience possible with MPR.

BLOODSTOCK SALES
Our team conducts extensive catalogue research, inspections, vetting, and consultations with our bloodstock agents & trainers when buying our horses, whether that be as yearlings, as 2-year-old 'breezers', or at the HIT (Horses-in-Training) sales.
Tim explains: "No stone went unturned to ensure that the new juveniles that we purchased at the yearling sales will represent their owners with distinction on the racecourse in 2025 and we will stick to our principles - only buying when we think there's value. That doesn't just mean cheap; Camelot was 525,000gns, and our own Anthelia (The National Stakes and Wetherbys Super Sprint Winner) was £6,000, but, crucially, both represented value."
