'Operation - In, Win & Out!'

By INVINCIBLE SPIRIT, he was bred and raced in the ownership of Lady Bamford, his dam is an unraced sister to Lady Bamford's own Oaks winner SARISKA.

He’s been with George for a little while, having been transferred by his previous owner, from Charlie Hills. He’s never been straightforward and, indeed, has been awarded the infamous Timeform squiggle, given his antics pre-race and, on occasions, during the race.

However, George says the horse’s ability levels have never been in question and he’s now worked out the best way to train him - he ran a perfectly sensible race the other day at Kempton, backing up George’s continued faith.

Bought back by George, with the permission of Lady Bamford (this horse’s previous owner), for a mere 1000 Guineas at the February Horses In Training sale, last week, we felt he was a fun horse for our owners, with a short to medium term project in mind.

Watch his profile video, here:

Ideally, the plan is buy into him, race him between now and either the May Guineas Sale or July Sale, and win a race or two along the way - 'In, Win & Out', as it were!

Horses can make fools of you, and we may be wide of the mark in our judgement and expectations, but he looks an inexpensive, by racing’s standards, fun, bit of sport than could easily take us to the winners’ enclosure. Any race he would win, will earn plenty more than he initially cost to buy, and that, in itself would be a feather in everyone’s cap.

Racing update: We already have an entry for him, at Wolves on Friday 9th Feb' His race entries/declarations, will show on this page.
