There are few new stallions that have ever made such an impact from relatively humble beginnings as Showcasing, with perhaps only Dark Angel being on a par. Showcasing has the huge ability to upgrade his mares and to add value to the quality to which their offspring perform.
A high-class sprinter himself, winning the Duke Of York Stakes, his progeny include the mighty Advertise, Motatheer and Quiet Reflection amongst many, many more. His stud career began with a covering fee of just £5000, but it has risen sharply and rapidly to its current £55,000. Conceived off a £35,000 cover in 2017 we believe we have stepped in for this filly at just the right time, to secure a fantastic, value purchase in the shape of this daughter of such a progressive young stallion.
Our filly, out of a very speedily bred Kyllachy mare, hails from a pedigree steeped in black type and Group performers. She is a half-sister to a talented 2yo by Swiss Spirit and the hope would be that Showcasing would impart both speed a talent, that could perhaps surpass those of Swiss Spirit. She’s a great mover and covers the ground fantastically well and we can envisage her stride pattern, simply eating up the ground, when we see her in her faster paces, as she progresses through her training programme.

Syndicate manager update (6th Nov): Another good solid run from her, to take 3rd on her third start, just being drawn on the wrong side in the outer stall. She was the Racing Post 'EYECATCHER' from the meeting too, which is superb! They say "Lexington Bullet (3.00) remains lightly raced and capable of better." Syndicate manager Tom says "Had she not been drawn completely on the wrong side she would probably have gone very close to winning the race, and given it was only her third start there will be natural progression still to come from her. We plan on continuing racing for the next few months with her and as she hasn’t yet been out of the winners enclosure on any of her 3 starts, she looks a sure-fire winner on her next start or two!" Her race entries will show on this page.
Pedigree Update (19th September): "The colt's victory on Saturday took Showcasing's stud record to 91 stakes performers, a list that now includes 22 Group winners."
