“This horse reminds me of Dragon Symbol, as this stage of their career. When I went through the list, this colt was the one I really wanted today.” Archie Watson 7th September 2021

Some quote from this colt’s trainer, no less!

He’s from the first crop of the Group 1 winning Havana Grey and is from the very fast family of Anita’s Prince, Ardad, and he’s a grandson of the Champion Sprint producing mare Blue Iris. Out of a Holy Roman Emperor mare, he has 2yo speed and precocity, written all over him.

He’s just the sort of individual that Archie excels with. Were he to debut as early as the Brocklesby, that would be no surprise at all, en route to races at Royal Ascot itself. Of course, it’s early days, just yet, but he ticks all the boxes, was the opinion of ourselves, Archie and Tom Biggs of Blandford Bloodstock.

He comes highly recommended and looks ideal for both the £100,000 and £150,000 Sales races, that are exclusive to graduates of this sale.

NB - the colt has been seen to walk his box, which was announced prior to going through the ring.

Training Update (3rd January): Archie describes him as a straight forward colt with a great attitude. He told us this morning: "I am very happy with him. He is catnering away nicely. We will do some bone training sprints later in January and then build him up in the Spring towards an early season debut, April or May depending if we're needing 5f or 6f at the time."  His race entries will show on this page.
