The Horse - We have here, hopefully something a bit special.This filly is an exceptional filly. She cost 35,000gns at THE sales for 2 year old winners; THE DONCASTER ST LEGER SALES. She was one of the most expensive fillies sold at those sales. She is a FULL SISTER to the high class Bond Becks, who was a Listed/Group performer as a 2yo only a couple of seasons ago. He was thought of as a 2000 Guineas horse by connections but injured himself early in his 3yo career and frankly was never the same horse again. Never before at Middleham Park Racing have we been able to afford to purchase a full sister or full brother to anything of note. So this is a first for us. Why this filly then? We have fallen in love with this most imposing filly because we expect her to make up into a high class horse for 2006 and beyond. She is by Tagula, who has sired horses such as ATLANTIS PRINCE, MACAROON, TAGULA SUNRISE, RED MILLENIUM, DOUBLE VIE, PENTECOST, BAKEWELL TART, DOUBLE VIE, TASHGIRA, DRAGON FLYER, PARTYTIME, TILAK, TRIPLE PAY and of course Bond Becks and she is trained by Alan Bailey in Cheshire, Alan proudly boasts

Of coure there is always a first time, but why should it be this filly. We belive there is more chance of this filly being a black type performer thatn there is her not winning. Quite a bold statement, but one we heartily believe to be the case. The filly is broken in now and can be seen cantering any morning at the yard. She, rather like all classy animals has a real swagger to her. A touch of arrogance about her; something needed by boxers and sprinters and very relevant to horses too.
