Victor=Victorious!

WINNER 66 OF 2021: VICTORIOUS NIGHT, trained by Richard Hannon and ridden by Liam Browne (-7): 'The Cazoo Maiden Stakes' over 7f at Chepstow .

The 3 year old colt by Night Of Thunder has come close to getting his head in front; finishing in the winners' enclosure for 6 of his 8 starts to date! He broke smartly and was towards the head of the field, travelling nicely. He eased into the lead 2f out and when Liam asked him to quicken away, he kept on strongly inside the final furlong, to win 'readily' by 2 3/4 lengths.

Timeform have given him a career best rating of 86 and commented: "Showed improved form to finally get off the mark after 8 days off, putting his experience to good use under a good-value claimer; close up, travelled well, led 2f out, kept on well, had plenty in hand.”

Syndicate manager Tim says: "Congratulations to his owners on his impressive victory. He has come so close to date but yesterday, he did that really well and it looks like there's plenty more to come. He handled the track undulations brilliantly and looked to be going away at the end, so we could look at a mile for him too. His win took us over £700,000 of race prize money won this year and we still have some lovely horses waiting in the wings to make their debuts: Both on the flat and ready for the National Hunt season ahead. We pride ourselves on having a real selection of syndicate horses for owners to enjoy, that run all around the country under both codes and we look forward to adding some yearlings to our team at the Goffs Premier Yearling Sale next week."
