Ventura Royal brings up our 900th winner in style

There were celebrations galore yesterday as VENTURA ROYAL crossed the line in front at Redcar under Danny Tudhope. The David O'Meara trained daughter of Teofilo was (in case you hadn't noticed!) our 900th winner. Not content with just the race first place prize money of £6,469, thanks to the educated race placement by her syndicate manager Mike, she earned a £10,000 'Plus 10' bonus AND, as she was purchased this time last year at the Tattersalls Book 1 yearling sale, a £25,000 bonus. So, you can see why her owners were ecstatic. Well done to them. They also received a special bonus from us too for being our 900th winning syndicate!

Ventura Royal was our fifth £10,000 Plus 10 Bonus cheque won for owners this season and our 27th race won by a 2 year old. She also took us to 76 winners this year and over £942,000 of race prize money won.

We really can't thank our owners enough for their support over the years and of course the superb training teams and stable staff who look after our horses so well for us and the jockeys who have steered the 900 winners across the line in front!

However it does feel a little like we're 9/10ths of the way there or like a 9 out of 10 score, so rest assured we'll continue to be just a committed on everyone's behalf as we strive to be the first ever syndication company in the history of British Horseracing to reach 1000 winners. 9/10 is never a score we are happy with at MPR, we like to strive for perfection in everything we do. We think it's something which helps set us apart, well apart from having the most winners that is!"
