Southern Rock records his third win

We were concerned that he had the worst of the draw in stall 10 and hoped he could get to go forward, but from where he was Danny Tudhope had to just sit and track the leaders towards the outer. He began to be ridden over 2 furlongs out and rallied to the lead over 1f out. A typical Danny drive in the final furlong had him at the winning line a length ahead of the 2nd horse.

A still lightly raced 3 year old son of New Approach, since we bought him from the Andre Fabre stable, his new trainer David O'Meara has recorded 3 wins and one 2nd place with him from 5 runs. Spotted as a fine staying prospect by OTI Racing, Australia, they have bought into him with us and he now runs in co ownership with us.

His OR has so far risen from 78 to 85. We will see what the handicapper does next week and then make a plan for him.
