WINNER 59 OF 2021: AIRSHOW, trained by Rod Millman and ridden by Ross Coakley: 'The Casumo Bet 10 Get 10 Handicap' over 5f at Bath.
This year, Airshow has put in some good performances in his races, topping up his prize money coffers with finishing places of 3,3,2,7 and a close 2nd last week, also at Bath. Lining up under top weight, with Ross Coakley back in the saddle, the flashy chestnut was chalked up as favourite..
He broke well, as he usually does and shared the lead in the first furlong. Asked for an effort at the 2 pole, he went into the lead and kept on well, to win by a length - the 5th win of his career.

In his Sky Sports Racing interview with Luke Harvey, Ross said: "He ran a solid race here on Friday and I think the cheek pieces sharpened him up at the business end, as he likes to look around. He likes to get on with it and has done it well under top weight.”

Timeform gave him a race rating of 79 and say: "After just 5 days off, went one better than last time, the application of headgear for the first time this year helping to keep his quirks in check, and he'll win again if that continues to be the case."
