More lease share opportunities are added due to popular demand!
We have welcomed lots of new owners this year; some who are taking the plunge into becoming an owner for the very first time. Many have told us that what attracted them was the fact that they could join us by taking out a lease share as a first step into ownership.
We initially offered lease shares in just one filly (pictured). By Requinto and now named Good Tyne Girl, she is in training with Richard Fahey. 95% of lease shares in her have now sold, so we have decided to add some other lease options set out below!
Taking a lease share is perfect for brand new owners. You just pay a monthly training fee instead of buying a full share and paying an amount upfront.
Here's what lessees of a horse benefit from:
- full race day owners’ badge entitlements (the quantity dependant on the % shareholding e.g one badge with 2.5% and two badges with 5%)
- receipt of all prize money earned (commensurate with percentage shareholding)
- full owners’ updates from the syndicate manager
- full access to our newsletters and offers
- full entitlements to stable visits and events
The main difference when taking out a lease rather than buying a share, is that when the horse is sold, only full shareholders are entitled to a return (commensurate with the % owned in the horse). Full shareholders are also entitled to race winning trophies and prizes.
These are the 2 year old horses with lease shares available (% available correct at the time of writing!)
