John Upson, maidford, Northants - John has a superb training record. He has trained horses down the years such as Suny Bay, Zeta's Lad (won Racing Post Chase and went off almost favourite for the void Grand National), Nick The Brief (won Peter Marsh Chase and two Irish Henessy Gold Cups), Nick The Beak , Tharr An Bharr (8 wins and second in a Mackeson), River Bounty and Over The Road (won at the Cheltenham Festival and was placed in the Irish, Welsh, Scottish and English Grand Nationals) and many, many other very nice horses. For us, he has trained Reach The Clouds (5 wins and 11 places including two runs on CH4 at Cheltenham and Sandown and he was fourth recently in a Class B handicap), River Challenge (2 wins and four places), Over Zealous (7 wins and 9 places), Echo's Of Dawn who has won a point to point and six chases for us including being second twice on Channel Four including 2nd in THE AGFA DIAMOND CHASE, SANDOWN TO BILLINGSGATE , and Polo Pony(winner).
