You could make a ready case for suggesting this fabulous colt is just about as well-bred a horse as we have ever purchased as a yearling. Sir Mark, so adept at purchasing and training top class racehorses, most recently Marsha, bought this fabulous colt at Ireland's premier sale; Goffs in September. The pedigree oozes, not just black type and Group performers but champions amidst the Group 1 winners moreover. He hails from the fabulous Kirsten Rausing main family, that of Albanova, Alborada and Alouette. The grand dam of this colt is the champion race filly Albanova who is a full sister to the champion filly in Ireland of 1998 Alborada; both horses were trained by Sir Mark from his Heath House Stables at the foot of Warren Hill. In fact, there are a total of 13 Group and listed winning horses in this colt's pedigree that were trained by Sir Mark himself. He knows this outstanding family, fabulously well.

Furthermore, this colt is by the virtually peerless stallion Oasis Dream, the sire of Pretty Pollyanna, Muhaarar, Ertijaal, Midday, Arcano, Prohibit, Gale Force Ten, Showcasing, Polydream and Power to name but a few. The genes from our dam, who is by the Champion sire Galileo, lest we forget, combined with the Green Desert genes of Oasis Dream really suggest we could be looking at here, a horse of the highest order. Read about his sire here:

Our colt is the 3rd progeny from the 2yo winning, listed performing mare Albamara, trained by Sir Mark for her 3 years of racing. Sir Mark trains the second progeny of Albamara, currently a 2yo called All Points West, who having raced just three times this season, is being brought along steadily through the Heath House training regime. Sir Mark believes him to be remarkably well handicapped off 68, following his three runs at 2 years, this season. He's pretty sure that handicap mark will alter rapidly throughout All Points West's 3yo career. Sir Mark is very familiar with the first progeny from the mare too, Elhafei trained by John Gosden; Sir Mark saw him most days in his work around Newmarket and reports the horse as, unwilling to settle and far too free in his work to ever make a racehorse. It is with a very open eye, that we can firmly believe the possibility of our yearling Oasis Dream colt striding on to greatness once he hits the track in 2019 and beyond.

This colt hails from a champions family and is fortunate enough to be by a champion sire. Now whether he turns out to be a champion himself, is open to question, but on genes and looks alone, you couldn't rule it out.
