In recent times just about the two most influential sires of 2 year olds have been Showcasing and Acclamation and they both appear in the top line pedigree here, with this beautiful filly as the result. This Showcasing Filly out of the Acclamation sired mare Full Mandate looks like a real powerhouse and looks set to be a very fast, very high class filly indeed.
The mares one and only foal to run is the 101 rated Dan Troop who was trained by the maestro of Musley Bank Richard Fahey, who unsurprisingly this filly will be heading to. Whilst Lawman, the sire of Dan Troop is an achieving stallion, Showcasing would be in a different league to him when it comes to consistently producing Group 1 winners.
She really has something a little bit special about her physically but has the breeding and the genes to fire her to the next level. We really are very excited about her and couldn’t ask for a more perfect candidate for the Queen Mary at the Royal Meeting.
See her walk and profile video included with this page.
Pedigree update: Whitsbury Manor Stud has upped the fee for Showcasing to £55,000 for the 2019 breeding season. The Racing Post reported: "The son of Oasis Dream, who stood for £35,000 during the latest covering season, has enjoyed another fine year on the track, particularly with his juveniles. He added a new Group 1 winner to his CV when Advertise landed the Phoenix Stakes, while Soldier's Call took out the Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes and Mohaather claimed the Group 3 Horris Hill Stakes." Here's what lessees of a horse benefit from:
- full race day owners’ badge entitlements (the quantity dependant on the % shareholding e.g one badge with 2.5%)
- receipt of all prize money earned (commensurate with percentage shareholding)
- full owners’ updates from the syndicate manager
- full access to our newsletters and offers
- full entitlements to stable visits and events
The main difference when taking out a lease rather than buying a share, is that when the horse is sold, only full shareholders are entitled to a return (commensurate with the % owned in the horse). Full shareholders are also entitled to race winning trophies and prizes.
Trainer update (12th Feb): NEW CANTERING VIDEO ADDED. This filly was very popular at her pre training yard, she has a very nice attitude and really wanted to please-in fact they didn't want to see her leave! She has settled in well at Musley Bank and Richard took this video of her this morning on the gallops. We can't wait to see her at our stable visit on February 24th (see below for details).
STABLE VISIT-Sunday 24th February: If you would like to join us to see this filly, please email email@example.com to book your place.
