Second Page's sire Harbour Watch, was a high class racehorse for Richard Hannon, with his first runners on the racetrack as a stallion in 2016. He very much looks like his sire and his dam, Almunia, his dam has produced the very talented black type performer Lewisham (officially rated 104 at his best; he was placed 2nd in the July Stakes Gp2 as a 2yo to earn this rating).
Second Page was lightly raced at two, giving him time to grow into his large frame and allowing him to mature mentally also.
Syndicate manager update: He's had a few niggles over the last 12 months, but he is just coming right now and he looks like he could have a serious season on the AW this winter, based on his the super time figure he clocked on his only, winning visit to Southwell. He looks an AW specialist and we'll see him racing regularly at Southwell. He'll have the £50,000 middle distance London series final at Kempton as his mid summer target. He looks set for a productive remainder of 2018 and 2019.
