NO NAY BELLA
Purchased at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale, this filly is PLUS 10 BONUS registered.
Just occasionally, the racing world experiences the naissance of a first season wonder sire. This year we've seen the emergence of NO NAY NEVER as probably the best freshman sire we've experienced in many a year; we include Frankel as part of that statement, if you allow for the respective mares both sires would have been presented with. At the time of writing, a massive 23% of No Nay Never's runners are black type performers; as a general rule of thumb, a 10% record is seen as bordering on outstanding. One thing is for sure, when we purchased this gorgeous filly (around half the way through the yearling sales season), No Nay Never was only just becoming the imperious first season sire he has turned out to be. If we were trying to purchase this filly now, we'd be struggling to get anywhere near being able to afford her. Read about her sire here: https://coolmore.com/farms/australia/stallions/no-nay-never and see her walk video on this page.
A lovely, dark bay filly, so typical of No Nay Never's progeny, she walks fantastically well and looks every inch a high quality 2yo for 2019. Marco does so well with his fillies, winning Grade 1 and Group 1 fillies' races in 2017 and 2018. He's a top class, Newmarket trainer who fits this horse perfectly well. Not only does this filly have a sire, she also hails from a Group 1 fillies' winning family and to be frank, we can't wait for her to hit the track in 2019. She looks a forward enough individual, as we say, with great movement, and we could see her debuting in April or May, around a month or so before the big Royal meeting at Ascot; both sides of her pedigree suggest she could easily be up to that sort of standard.
A hugely exciting horse with a top-class trainer of fillies and by, just possibly the best sire around, this horse looks fantastic value and a genuine opportunity to, just maybe dine at racing's top table.
