Purchased from the 2017 Tatts HIT sale for 68,000 gns and sent to the mercurial trainer David O'Meara, who improves others' 'cast offs' for fun, Cold Stare is now a 8-time winner, with a highest RPR of 103.
He is a very popular son of Intense Focus and is just the sort of horse who reminds us of our previous David O'Meara stalwart, PENITENT.
Cold Stare is a real favourite at MPR HQ. Runs every fortnight, wins at least one race every season, and it’s usually at a festival meeting and/or a Saturday. Revels in soft and heavy ground and there looks like there’s no sign of his winning journey coming to an end. Loves Haydock, Doncaster and Goodwood.
