The Horse - Guest Connections
We have a really exciting runner here for the 2007 Flat season. Bought for us by Dandy Nicholls at the October Horses in Training sales in Newmarket for 13,000gns, Dandy has unearthed a real gem here. His former trainer Mick Channon gets on very well with Dandy and encouraged us to buy him. To be frank at his old yard, they thought he would fetch a whole lot more than he did, but he was there for sale and we were in the right place at the right time. Guest Connections is already a GROUP 3 WINNER on the Flat over 6f as a 2yo. He is only a 3yo and is very lightly raced so will be 4yo in 2007. Off a handicap mark of mid 80’s and a timeform rating of 95 and with Dandy at the helm, we could well be heading for some great fun at all the tops tracks in England, Scotland and Wales in 2007. Our analysis of the horse is that he is best at 6f and on top of the ground. Guest Connections has been successful with a visor on but has also without. As you know there is no better trainer in the game than Dandy at getting the very best out of this kind of horse. With just a bit of improvement Guest Connections could just be heading for some of the top class handicap sprints in the height of next Summer. This horse was exceptionally well bought and is a great value opportunity to race at a high level of ownership.
